THE Terra Sana Cooking Club in Marbella is back after a summer break with new classes for kids and adults from the healthy food restaurant group.
Kids classes will start on September 18, 2010 and then run every Saturday from 11.30am – 1pm. Mexican food is on the menu for the first class and the cost of 20 euros even includes ingredients.
Meanwhile the adult classes will resume on Wednesday, September 22 with an essential wok class. The wok is the most important piece of Chinese cooking equipment. It can be used for stir-frying, deep-frying, steaming, and roasting. While a frying pan can be used in place of a wok for stir-frying (cast iron is particularly good), a wok has numerous advantages in shape, design, and material. For dieters, an added plus is that a wok uses less very little oil.
The price of 65 euros includes produce, use of kitchen equipment and dinner with the chef. It runs from 6.45pm – 9.45pm.

The Terra Sana Cooking Club is based at Terra Sana on the Golden Mile in Marbella – in front of the Hotel Gaudalpin. Entrance is via the organic Terra Sana shop.
