THEY say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure and one environmental organisation is putting this old ditty into practice.
Andalucian environmental group Ronda Limpia is calling upon anyone interested to participate in their exhibition of recycled art.
The volunteer group is planning its second annual Dia de Ronda Limpia, to take place in the picturesque Alamada del Tajo on April 25.
Participants of all ages and abilities can volunteer art pieces, sculptures and re-created utilities – as long as they are made from recycling or what could otherwise be considered as rubbish.
Last year’s event included over 100 works of art from national and international participants with the wider aim of showcasing creative uses of recycling.
The deadline for registration is April 17 and those taking part will receive a small gift.
To participate, send an email to the Delegacion Medio Ambiente de Ronda at mambiente@ronda.es including your name, email, address, approximate size and name of artwork and materials and techniques used.
