NERJA’S mayor Jose Alberto Armijo claims the government has brought good news about the town’s long-awaited sewage plant.
According to Armijo, he has been assured that there will be a ‘definitive and irreversible’ drive to build the plant, which has a target completion date of 2015.
Despite finally authorising the plant to go to tender in April 2011, the previous Socialist government abandoned the project due to lack of funds.
